EU standards on First Aid Kits?

We are a medical products manufacturer and we want to export our First Aid Kits to European Union nations. Can any one tell me EU standards on First Aid Kits? Thank you very much.

Hey man... I don't think that is ethical to be discussing this out of your company. You should be talking to your production manager about this.

Why do American and Canadian TV shows insist on using ancient police sirens when depicting UK locations?

I have just watched Sanctuary Season 2 Episode 1&2 where some of the story takes place at the London facility. During the external CGI'd shot of the London Sanctuary in the audio background can be heard the now standard emergency service siren dopplering as if passing by.

My question - Why do the producers of any TV show produced the far side of the atlantic always use this type of emergency siren when trying to place the location as London or any large UK city? The emergency services haven't used air horn style sirens like that for the better part of 20 years ago. The history of emergency sirens goes way back and starts with the little silver bells on the grill, then air horns and from the late 70's through to early 80's, the migration over to the electronic noise-boxes came through. By the '90's everybody including the Voluntary Aid Societies had converted over giving them the Hi-Low, Yelp and Wail, this day and age adding the phaser to the list.

The siren in question can be heard at http://www.audiosparx.com/sa/summary/pla y.cfm/sound_iid.38979

My issue with all this is that the British police service or any emergency service has been using the same two tone sirens as the american first responders since around the same time - mainly cause they buy the same kit from the same manufacturer as everybody else, ie. Premier Hazard and co!

Maybe they need to catch a couple of episodes of The Bill on BBC America?

I think they just use it as an audio clue for the watchers so they know immediately that they are in a different country. I cannot honestly tell you the history of our sirens over here but I have only heard those types in reference to European countries, so now when I hear them I automatically think of Europe. Hope this helps.
