Lidocaine local anesthetic for sale?

Where can I buy a vial of lidocaine/epinephrine without a prescription. An epi pen, suture kit, and IV kit. I'm preparing my ultimate first aid kit.

Topical lidocaine is available OTC as burn relief ointment. You will never be able to get injectible lidocaine. Way too dangerous. Epinephrine is available OTC in the form of a mist that asthmatics use.

Epi pens require a prescription. Any injectible requires a prescription. Just go to a pharmacist and tell him/her that you want to have certain things in a first aid kit.

Which car seat would you choose...(aussie car seats converting to booster seats 8-26kg)?

I am considering these 3 car seats for my son. He is currently 19mths old and 12.5kg.
When looking at them, which would you choose when you take these things into consideration...

**Must use till at least age 7 (about 26kg - obviously needs to incorporate adjustable height as my son is tall and I bet only going to get taller FAST!)
**Price
**Safety
**Size (width mostly...must fit in a backseat with another car seat and a backless booster)

(arm rests & drink holders do not hold much value to me so I am not really worried about comparing those functions)

They are all very similar so which one would you chose and more importantly, why??
Trying to get others opinions in case there is something I have missed that is important and a big factor swaying me towards one seat over the others. There is a big legion of fans supporting the second seat (the safe n sound maxi rider but it is also the most expensive with the price tag of $369..is it worth it??

thanks mummies!

Hi there!
I went looking and upgrading my kids car seats not too long ago, and yeah, with so many t choose from it is tricky. Space, however, is not an issue for us as we have an 8 seater car ( 2 in middle row, 2 in back, with middle seat taken out.
We went with two of the maxi riders with AHR for our 6 and 3yo's ( relative owns a baby shop so got them nice and cheap!) and what I can say about them is, although brilliant, they are VERY wide, therefore would be a bit of a struggle size wise if you are trying to fit another seat and booster along the back of a car.
On the other hand, previously, we had Infa Vario Max's ( very similar to the first seat link, same brand) however I wasn't a fan of them. My 6yo has very broad shoulders and found the seat very squishy. Also, with your little man still being very young, that seat doesn't have the "anti suubmarine clip". ( the clip that goes in between their legs to stop them sliding under.) I found my son used to be able to slouch in his seat, and the H harness would end up riding right up, very dangerous.
The middle seat looks good, I have never heard of them. Did they rate well on the crash tests in QLD??
That's all I can really offer, sorry.
Good luck with it all. Have you got a new car yet, what did you decide on??
Hope the decision isn't too stressful!

A pasturemate.How to get(him) to?

I have a very alertness horse. I posted a question and almost everyone said I should get a pasturemate. I want another horse, but my paw-paw wont let me! He says we don't have enough land to.(2 1/2 acres, limit 1 acre per horse in VA) He also says we don't even have enough money for the horse we got now! But I have $170 saved up. We have tons of feeds bags! And water and 5 things of hay! She has a $1000 saddle and a bridle&bit, bell and splint boots,to halters,2 lead rope, run in shed, lunging rope, whip, pick etc.First aid kit,her feet doesn't need trimmed until June the farrier said, she was just checked by the vet last Saturday. She has a coggins test. I work around the house to earn money and my aunt pays me. I clean up all the crap to keep her from getting works and manny more! What more can I possible do! He just wont let me have anyone. But it would be goog for my mare I have now! What should I say and do to talk him into it. There are 2 free horses in the trading post for sale. But I dont think they are broke! Should I get one of those and maybe just keep that one as a pet,and or get one and send it off for training like my aunts friend does? Please help! And dont say Im spoiled. I have spent in my lifetime probably with my own money in 8months$1000!
What I mean by a alertness horse is that she always alert and never relaxed around scary things and or in the barn.

Why don't you speak with your aunt's friend about getting the horses together sometime and see if that calms your horse down. Depending on the breed of horse it may not stop being "alert". Mustangs tend to be "alert" all the time as do many warm blooded horses. Also keep in mind that some horses after being "the only horse" for long periods of time don't always respond well to new horses and may not want friends.

DS: Is there anything else I need?

Before I bring Lua home, is there anything else I need to buy?

I have:

1 wire crate, divider in place and mat/blankets inside.
2 baby gates
1 hard, plastic carrier
1 soft carrier
1 travel bag
2 puppy play pens
Her main collar, plus I think 6 extras
5 leashes, plus a leash that attaches to waist and one extendable leash
6 harnesses
1 first aid kit
1 bottle of Nutri Cal
1 bottle of Chew Stop
1 Brush
1 Toothbrush/Toothpaste
1 food bowl
1 water bowl
1 placement mat
1 bath mat
1 set of nail clippers (with Kwik stop powder)
Bag of Blue Buffalo puppy food
1 food storage container
2 dog coats for winter potties
1 bed
50+ toys (I'm going to rotate them, 5 at a time) (This includes about 10 KONG brand toys)
1 car seat with seatbelt attachment
Various treats, including KONG stuffing
ID tag with her name and my phone number

Is there anything I forgot? And don't say I went overboard, I already know. Lol. Most of the stuff I have extras in I got from garage sales for very cheap. And I've been accumulating this stuff since April, because I knew I'd be getting a Chihuahua sometime this year.
@Onyx -- Lol now that you mention it, I totally forgot to pick those up at Petco the other day. Oops.

@UHave2BeKiddingMe -- Is the ex pen the same thing as a play pen? I have 2 play pens, one is a plastic one that is square shaped and the other one is fabric that pops open, but it's very big. I plan to take that one to my campground next summer so when I'm eating or something, she'll have somewhere safe to go. It has a top on it so a hawk can't get her... Or stupid kids that go there can't grab her. (LOL)
@Rachel -- Haha, I know. ;P I forgot some things on that list. Oops, I knew that would happen. I do have dog shampoo, it's TropiCAL (the best kind you can get without actually going to a groomer's supply outlet... that's what I heard at least.). I have doggy bags, and I'm waiting to get the open treats like bones and Bully sticks until a little closer to her take home date. My best friend is really into dogs as well and she promised me a few bully sticks as a new puppy present LOL. I'm deciding between two vets.. Errgh. But yes, I'm planning on getting laminate sheets and putting contact info of me, vet, and breeder and keeping them in first aid kit and car kit. I have paper towels and Nature's Miracle cleaner ready. (The 1.5 gallon jug! LOL) Oh, and I do have a treat pouch. Haha I just couldn't stop buying things!

Thank you! I am very excited. :] I actually get to go visit her today, she's 6 weeks! (I go and see her every 2 weeks since my breeder lives 2 hours away)

That is one well supplied puppy!

Only four more weeks to go, I know how excited you must be.

How about some flea product like frontline for when she is old enough to have it applied.

I see you have baby gates, but what about an ex-pen? I could not live without my ex-pen, especially with my puppy.

ADD: Not that you need more stuff, but this is one of my favorite websites to shop on
http://www.petedge.com
You could look at their catalog and maybe get some ideas for more things.

Does his aspergers syndrome make him so paranoid? Need some help?

Here is a list of the things he's paranoid about:

*Supermarkets. His opinion is that it's all "Mass media produced crap" He said the air in the supermarket is so filled with chemicals that it burns his throat. He says 'everything' in the supermarket is unhealthy, even the fruit and vegetables. Apparently they're not 'organic' enough.

* Watching TV: He says the adds on TV pollute our minds, and the TV shows are never based on reality. Even the ones that claim to be. He says all the acting is terrible, and when I watch TV, he mutes the adds, and takes me out of the room. In order to avoid the "Mass media produced items on TV".

*Using chemicals: This would include - Makeup, hair products, cleaning products, face products, bath products, candles (unless organic), incense (unless organic), creams/lotions, things to help muscular pain, any kind of healing creams, and anything else with any ingredients that aren't 'all natural'.

*Having any chemicals in the house: According to him, because I have face cream, makeup, and nail polish in my room, the air is polluted. He also says the laundry is polluted, and the kitchen. He is against washing dishes, or clothes. He says it's unhealthy, and not natural. Apparently he is still searching for all natural cleaning things. He says 90% of the natural cleaning products are fakes.

*Spending time with people who use chemicals: He only talks to people who are 'totally' natural. The only people I've met who are 'totally' natural, would be his parents. His mother doesn't shower, and has never cleaned. Her house made me vomit.

*Showering: He says It's 'un natural' to shower more than once a week. He only showers when he really 'needs' to, because of the 'chemicals' in the water. He makes exceptions for rivers though.

*Not exercising enough: His ambition is to exercise 7 hours a day, non stop. He's obsessed with it, and never stops.

*Dust particles in the air: He says my house has dust particles which clog up his throat. He complains about it continuously.

*Hair particles in the air: He says it's from my dog, and her hair goes in his throat.

*Any kind of vehicle: He only walks, or rides his push bike.

*Getting a job: He is against it, and never wants to work. He says it's unhealthy. He doesn't want to be like other people.

*Getting educated: He is also against this. He says the education system is 'stupid' and corrupted. He has never studied for anything.

There are other small things, like not liking it when I do anything with my appearance. To paint a picture of him, he's a fairly short, thin man. Has an arabic/indian like appearance. Scurries like a mouse when he walks, sways his arm when he walks, and looks like he's gay. He has a big over sized back pack, that most likely weighs more than him. He also carries several other bags, and wears dorky plastic shoes, high waisted shorts, and often strange looking tops. He is also often seen wearing big strange hats. He spends him time collecting rubbish, hunting for garage sales, plucking hairs from his legs, being 'healthy', and looking for money on the streets. He likes to live the 'alternative' lifestyle. In his back pack he has everything from a first aid kit, to a swag.

Do my question is, why is he so paranoid?
Is it because of his aspergers?
*SO my question is.

It's not Aspergers Syndrom, Aspergers is a slight form of "retardation" in other words slow, and clumsey. He is a tree hugging, lazy a** Liberal, who thinks he is going to save the world, and is too good to get a job, it sounds like he's been spoiled all of his life and needs a wake up call to what life is really about.
If this guy is your boyfriend, dump him!! He's not going to get any better. Do you like being around someone so difficult to please? I would get away ASAP.
