Johnson and Johnson, American red cross, FirstResponse. I bought and american red cross one at target for like 30 dollars and it has all kinds of things in it. Go to target or walmart and you should be able to find a large selection.
Many commercial first aid kits are seriously deficient. Most include little more than a few band-aids and bandages to cope with minor cuts or ...
I'll be doing one week in the Mediterranean in May, and we will have daily stops in various ports in Italy, Greek Isles and Croatia.
As RoofingPrincess so wisely said, everything is available (which I knew) at a price (which I also knew). I can go a month with using a band-aid or a pain relief pill, but this stingy old Girl Scout wants to be prepared.
I take a zipper-style plastic bag with a tube of triple antibiotic ointment, small bottle of aspirin, lots of bandaids, some antihistamine, some anti-diarrhea pills, and Pepto Bismol.
I also take a small sewing kit.
Don't forget plenty of sunscreen.
Have a wonderful trip!

All contents are held in a hard case which is convenient to carry.
A. sterile gauze pads in assorted sizes.

C. a knife to cut open blood blisters.
D. aspirin.
"A" and "D"
"A" Mostly but "D" is good to have like the person above said in case of a heart attack.

I am looking for an emergency first aid kit for my house for 2-4 people. I want it for extreme situations when it may not be possible for 911 assistance (i know they are always the first to resort too btw) is this a good one? http://www.amazon.com/Target-%252fAmeric an-Emergency-Preparedness-Starter/dp/B00 0A3QLBY/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=hp c&qid=1199316383&sr=8-1
That looks like a good one to me.
Right now I have a box of plasters, aspirins, 2 little deodorant bottles, mini shower gel, plasters, tweezer, scissors, nail stuff, sewing stuff, cotton pads, mirror, tissues, wipes, hand sanitizor, diorarlyte, cream agaist insects, vapour rub and a mini sunscreen. Whar else should I have especially when I'm travelling? Thank you.
My first question is what is this kit for? Usually in an emergency kit for things like natural disasters (hurricane, earth quake, etc.) you should have a flash light, extra batteries, (or just get one of those flash lights that charge when you shake it) water, some cash($50 or so) and some food that will not spoil. For a mini kit that may not contain food I would defiantly suggest the flash light, some feminine supplies (tampons etc.) and a small pack of baby wipes is great for those times you can't get a shower.
