don't give any blame to your brother's caregiver or your relative in the Philippines it will worsen the situation
it's best in the first place to get your brother a regular checkup with a medical doctor and a private nurse to take care of him if money is not a problem with you

working on a story, how does this sound?

This is pretty much chapter 2 or the first part at least.
tell me what you think, kepp in mind that the events leading up to this have alreasy been told

Mike ran, finally reaching the edge of the buildings, slowed his pace. He exited to an empty street. The street lamps were dim and cast shadows across the street. He turned and leaped up the stairs two at a time, leading to the dark two story house. He set the girl down gently by the door. He pulled his keys out of his pocket and fumbled for a moment ‘I have way too many key chains’ he thought. He found the key and opened the door.
He turned on the light switch, and the ceiling fan came to life illuminating the room. A light grey couch sat along the right wall and curved to the far wall. A wood coffee table sat in the middle of the room, and on the left wall was a large 50 in T.V. At the far wall, the room left to a dark hall and a kitchen to the left. He knew the house was empty, as his sister and husband had left out of state a few days ago.
He turned and picked up the girl. She stirred, but remained unconscious. He carried her past the living room to the hall. He walked to the last door on the left and pushed it open. He flipped on the light, and walked to the king size bed. He gently laid her down on the bed, taking care with her head. She whimpered and winced but still did not wake.
He smoothed out her black hair, and stepped back. ‘Now what dumbass’ He ran his hand through his hair. Her shirt was stained with blood and torn in a few places reveling some nasty cuts. Most seemed superficial but a couple looked deep. She had bruises all over, dark one on her face, and a cut across her forehead that bled onto her face.
He knew enough to know she needed help. Her breaths came weak but steady. He gently touched her shoulder, “Hey, can you hear me?” he asked her. She stirred and made a small whimper. Her eyes fluttered and opened slightly. “Hey, its going to be ok. I’m gonna get an ambulance and get you to a hospital.” He assured. He pulled out his phone and began dialing, but he felt her hand grab his.
He looked down to her. She had opened her eyes wider, and the blue eyes held his gaze, blood shot and framed with tears. “Please” She whispered, barely audible, “no . . . hospitals. No police.” She started crying more. “Please” she pleaded. Her eyes fluttered and closed again. Mike panicked, he pressed two fingers to her neck. He felt her pulse. Barely there, but it was steady, and she continued to weakly breath.
“Dammit! Why no hospital!?”He yelled. The girl gave no response other than to continue to cry in her sleep. Mike stared at his phone, the numbers 911 already on the screen. He knew that going to a hospital was the best idea, but he also did not want to betray her. He knew a little first aid, but he was no doctor. He stared at the sleeping girl. She was skinny, but not sickly so, half her body had blood on it, and several bruises were exposed, not counting the ones probably hidden under her clothes. Her face winced every so often, and even in sleep, tears still rolled down her face.
“Dammit.” he said aloud. “O.K. I’ll take a look, but if its too serious, your going to a hospital.”He told her, as if she could hear him. He walked out of the room and down the hall to the kitchen. He tossed his jacket on the table, grabbed a large bowl and, began filling it with warm water. As it filled, he grabbed several wash clothes, and ice pack, and a “first aid tub” from the hall closet. As well as a large bottle of alcohol, some towels and a sheet. The whole time, his mind stayed occupied with the girl. Who the hell was she? Why had those pricks beat her up? And why was she so against ambulance and hospitals, even in her condition? He had no answers, but focused on the task at hand.
He gathered everything up and walked back to the room. The girl had not moved, but she was still bleeding bad enough that a pool of blood was forming on the sheets on the bed. He cursed, set everything on the floor and took a breath.
He didn’t like the idea, (well, secretly he kinda did) but he knew he would have to take her clothes off in order to ensure he got all her most serious injures. In his mind, he drew the boundaries. ‘Underwear stays on’ he told himself. He felt his face flush, and was glad the girl was unconscious and couldn’t see him.
He slowly slid her shirt off, taking out one arm at a time. He started looking her over. She was not tan, closer to white than anything, but her body was covered in a number of bad cuts, scrapes, and bruises. She had one particularly nasty cut along her ribs, and had a nasty, blackish-blueish bruise on her side. Her breathing he noticed was labored, ‘why didn’t I notice that before? She’s having trouble breathing’ He thought He touched the bruise she winced, and he felt bone under the skin where it was not meant to be. ‘Broken rib. Could be pressing on her lungs.’ He cursed.
While she was still bleeding,

It is very, very good. I was so caught up, I was leaning closer to the screen while I was reading. I want to know what happens next!!! It's great!!!

uhhh i don't like how he keeps on cursing, it's a little redundant, we get that he's tense and stressed. also there's a lot of unnecessary details. for example: but her body was covered in a number of bad cuts, scrapes and bruises. you only need one or two at the most of those three words to describe it.
choose your words more wisely.

ON THE OTHER HAND-- i love it! it's really good and i want to know what chapter 1 was and where this story is going. does she die? who is she?

oh just one other criticism -- it's a little graphic and if you mean for anyone to read this, they may be shocked by your sexual details. it IS a little much.

is this good for the opening or first chapter of my lil story?

One-by-one the children seated themselves; in a civilized manner. The smallest placed at the front, and the older ones further back, in a winding circle with enough space between them for an adult to step through with ease.
In the center of the winding circle there was a tombstone. Shaped with such un-imaginable detail was a deity, a god. His tail was of a fish, head of a man, body of a menacing serpent, one hand made up of 3 octopus tentacles, the other a scorpions' pincer, wings of a dragon, and the teeth of a Wolf. The deity was holding a plate, square and black as the rest of the tombstone; engraved upon it was the poem:

Thy power is Great
Thy power is Woe
Thy power no Mistake
Thy power is thy saviour from Foe.

And so the Children prayed.
The shelter was wearm, unlike the outdoors. They were in a city, though no one knew where it was, or even what it was called. Nor even what was outside the Shelter. You could hear from The Opening that it was rainy, cold, and war-like; Gun shots from cannons not too far away - it seemed. Though none in the shelter could see it.
The shelter was shaped like a rectangle, the children seated themselved around the tombstone which was in the middle of the room. On the left of the children, there was was long, winding staircase. To their left was The Opening. It was just called The Opening. The opening was just a thin peice of air, stationed where the wall of the shelter would have been. where you could see nothing but blankness. I do not mean the Opening was black, or white or any colour, it was ... blank.
The children recited the words,

Thou power is great
Thou power not betrayed
Thou power no Mistake
Thou power come to our Aid

And through The Opening came the Deity.

yah its totally fictional
its just an opening, nothing more.

it's actually pretty ok. but i probably wouldn't call it good. just, read more (and not just fantasy books) and write more. um this sounds like the writing of someone who likes to read mediocre fantasy novels.

How to build trust with people again after you have been betrayed so many times ?

I have experienced one of the most betrayals in my entire lifeIf you know how the mechanics of the theory of six degrees of separation works you will understand.

I have a distant cousin,a female, who lives on the other side of the planet and she has a girlfriend who lives in the country where I live
However she had been badmouthing me with her saying that I am mean ,homophobic , have aids ,I am not to be trusted etc etc and the thing is that I bearly know her.Anyway her girlfriend, whom I have never met , both know the same type of people from various backgrounds
through my mothers girlfriends son and his girlfriend ,yes my own parent is involved in the drama too.

My cousin has known who I have dated ,socialised with, travelled to and even worked and any gossip she gets from her friend she tells my extended family given them the impression that I am living a reckless life, for example , we all have gay friends who we socialise she found out that I had been to a few gay clubs and told them I am gay, which I am not, she even got me fired from a job embarrasingly by saying that I would abuse gay/lesbian there because of my homophobia- I have lost everything because of her tongue ,money ,job, social network - I have not confronted her because she lies and manipulates an my ma has said a word to me either. This has afffected me greatly as I feel isolated in my neighbourhood since all my so called friends have disowned me as it took years for the rumours to spread

As I love women I do not want to become bitter and twisted towards them but I cant help thinking that the closest to you can screw you up. How can I build up trust again in people I am so weary but I used to be a gregarious person.

I am a good looking and intelligent man and people do warm to me very soon on a first meeting , even the same sex I may hasten to add ,which she has heard about ;I wonder if she could be jealous as she has been sending me emails that are somewhat offensive- shes such a b@@@tch

I am so hurt by this behaviour that things will never be the same again
when I see her and my extended relatives.

Please advise me

As a man i'll expect you to keep ur head straight and high as long as u know what u want out of life and set ur heart to achieve it. ur parents, friends and extended relations don't make u or break u. they only do so at ur consent. Get focused and live ur life to please urself and ur creator. The gays and prostitutes are human and need friends like u and i to keep them going or set them on the straight part. God himself never discriminated his creature, so non of his creation is given the right or authority to do so.
