Putting together a guinea pig first aid kit?

I googled what to put in a guinea pig first aid kit and came across this list right here on answers:
*1 - Bottle Powder Stypic (toenail bleeding)
*1 - Pair Latex Gloves (personal protection from blood)
*1 - 1" x 6 yd. Sterile Gauze Bandage (wrap wounds)
*1 - Bottle of Eye & Skin Wash, 1 Fl. Oz. (flush wounds)
*2 - Packages of Triple Antibiotic Ointment, 1 gr. (wound)
*2 - Packages of Hydrocortisone Cream 1 gr. (rashes, itching)
*2 - PVP Iodine Antiseptic wipes (sterilization)
*2 - Insect sting wipes (apply to insect bites/stings)
*1 - Roll 1/2" x 21/2 yd. Adhesive Tape (secure bandage)
*2 - Packages 2" x 2" Gauze Pad (apply to wounds)
*2 - Packages 3" x 3" Gauze Pad (apply to wounds)
*1 - Pair Scissors (trim hair and cut bandage or tape)
*1 - Hand Wipe (personal cleanup)
*2 - Antiseptic Towelettes (clean wound or hands)
*5 - Cotton Swab (apply ointments or creams)
*2 - Green Soap Towelettes (clean wound or hands)
*1 - Pet Care Card (detailed first aid instructions)
*1 - Pet Emergency Card (record your vet's emergency #'s)
*1 - Pr. Plastic Forceps (splinters/tick removal)
*1 - Pet Kit Case

I actually have 2 questions

1. is there anything you would add to this?

2. Where can I get these things? I know some I will be going to the pest store for, but things like eye wash or skin wash is that just stuff I would get at a drug store and use myself? or is there a specific kind I have to get for my pigs?

I know that's more than 2 questions, but I appreciate any help you can give me

Any store like walmart or walgreens. Eye and skin wash should be saline solution, nothing special. Hydrocortisone Cream I think is a no-no unless it's meant to use on yourself! Insect sting wipes, again, not for use on the pig. Green Soap Towelettes, skip these. The saline is good enough. Triple Antibiotic Ointment, not for on the pig, only for you. PVP Iodine Antiseptic wipes, not unless you are doing surgery...if you are bitten, wash with soap and water. Pet care card can be gotten from a vet or pet store. Pet emergency card can be an index card.
I think this list is misleading and dangerous. I would not use all those items meant to treat humans on a guinea pig without vet approval.
Also, a paste of corn starch can be used instead of expensive stypic powder! Mix to a thick paste and apply and hold pressure for a few minutes. I would add a few napkins or paper towel, a zip bag or small bottle, like from 35 mm film to put ticks or other small critters in to get identified, and if you are traveling with your pig, a bottle of water and a small fleece blanket.

What should I have in a First-aid kit?

I would like a lot of details please.
I would like everything and anything you would think would go in a First-aid kit from the essentials to other things, from Band-aids to Tea Tree Oil.
I have a very big kit that I want to fill up.

Also, a list of medicines I should have on hand would be good too. Panadol, etc. (Preferably natural, I'd prefer herbs and such but pharmacy drugs are fine too)

Natural healing remedies would also be appreciated. I would very much like to hear natural cures for itches, bites, stings, cuts, peeling skin, headaches, etc.

Essential oils are perfect for dealing with many of the minor illnesses, injuries and other conditions we encounter everyday, and in a natural, gentle and holistic way.

The following are what I would comsider as being the "must have" essential oils for a first aid kit -

Tea tree - Tea tree’s strong medicinal aroma reflects its powerful bacterial and virus busting properties, although its action is also very gentle. Tea tree can be added to a carrier oil for skin conditions, or even to a foot bath for feet infections.

Lavender - A wonderfully versatile oil, but best known for its relaxant properties. Can be used to soothe and heal minor cuts, insect bites, or burns. Add a few drops to a bowl of warm water and use to wash minor cuts or grazes. A drop inhaled from a tissue or on a pillow can aid restful sleep. Add to the bath at the end of a stressful day or rub a drop into the temples for a headache.

Eucalyptus - Wonderful for respiratory conditions, add eucalyptus to a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam to help clear a stuffy head. Or add to a carrier oil and massage into chest and back. Put a few drops on a damp cloth and use to wipe over door handles, light switches and other areas to reduce the spread of colds.

Rosemary - Stimulating to the mind and memory, rosemary is great for mental fatigue. It is also good for the hair - add to a carrier oil and use as a scalp massage for dry, flaky or out of condition hair.

Peppermint - Add a few drops to a tissue and inhale to help relive nausea, travel sickness or headaches. Or add to a footbath for hot tired feet.

Note except for specific instances stated above for lavender, never apply essential oils neat to the skin. They should always be diluted in a carrier oil, bath etc. So adding some carrier oil such as sweet almond or jojoba, to your kit is advisable.

Also bear in mind that whether you keep your aromatherapy first aid kit with your regular first aid kit or not, essential oils do always need to be stored in a cool dark place.

Hope this helps!

where can i find this stuff for an equine first aid kit?

Step1Get a bucket with a lid or other container you can seal and clearly label it "Equine First Aid" on all sides.
Step2Include a 3-inch vet wrap, nonstick absorbent pads (telfa), 4-inch elastic gauze, gauze sponges, a bandaging cotton roll and cotton sheets.
Step3Add elastic adhesive tape and 2- to 3-inch porous tape.
Step4Keep in the kit a pair of bandage scissors for cutting gauze, as well as pliers and wire cutters for removing foreign objects and cutting away fences your horse may have gotten caught on.
Step5Include providine solution, providine scrub (soap), antibiotics and wound ointment.
Step6Add a stethoscope and a thermometer for large animals.
Step7Throw in a plastic easy boot to protect an injured foot.
Step8Include eye wash, eye ointments and anti-inflammatory medications provided by your veterinarian.
Step9Add a flashlight and extra fresh batteries.
Step10Add a bottle of sterile water, latex gloves and a humane twitch.
Step11Keep medication for bee stings and spider bites, as prescribed by your veterinarian.
Step12Include phenylbutazone and flunixin meglumine, as prescribed by your veterinarian.
Step13Consult a veterinarian about other specific medications you should keep in your first aid kit, including antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Step14Store your kit at a moderate temperature; drugs may become ineffective if they are stored at very hot or cold temperatures. Also store the kit where it is in good view and easily accessible.
i just copied this from ehow

Much of this can be purchased at your local drug store. The equine supplies are available from most equine supply catalogs, or over the internet. Most importantly, you need your vet to teach you how to bandage, how to use the thermometer, where to listen with the stethoscope and how to use which ever type you buy (they are not all alike).
Don't buy sterile water.....you want sterile saline, 0.9% normal saline, which balances with your horse's body fluids, Saline not only won't disturb the fluid balance in your horse, but it is a very effective anti-infective, and the best first response to any open injury is flushing with normal saline. Povidone iodine is less effective in deterring infection, and is best used on fungus infections, not on fresh wounds.
I store my supplies in rubbermaid tubs with snap on lids. I keep a regular insulated thermal cooler (like for picnics) at the barn for temperature-sensitive products, and some medicines must be kept refrigerated.
Bee sting kits for humans require prescription....if you want that kind of medication for stings, the vet has to provide it.
Most drug stores carry stethoscopes, but you can also try a medical supply store, which also has bandage scissors, suture removal kits. and other supplies.
A humane twitch should be available at a local saddle shop. Otherwise, you can order one from a catalog like Jeffer's or Valley Vet Supplies, along with the bandaging materials you need.
