I have had a chance to look over your resume and have a few suggestions that I think could help you take the document to the next level.

1. I think you might want to forgo the Objective Statement (objectives are best left for the cover letter and are falling out of favor) and instead use a Branding Statement – a one or two sentence statement that outlines your high level experience and helps to create the "frame" through which the reader will see your information. Much of what you have put in the Objective Statement would work well. You might try something like:

"Detail-focused and compassionate professional, offering extensive Case Management, Program Management and Administrative experience. Track record of leveraging outstanding communication and interpersonal skills – including speaking fluent Spanish – to provide the guidance and tools necessary to effect positive change, both within families and within the organizations that support them."

See how that achieves the same goal as an objective, but communicates so much more. It also is a much more engaging way to open the document.

2. Many of your bullet points are responsibility focused. I think you could really set yourself apart by speaking more to accomplishments. I know this can be difficult in your field (which is why it would set you apart) but since prior performance is the best indicator of future success, speaking to accomplishments is the most effective way to engage the reader. Ask yourself the following question, "In each of my roles, how was my success measured? What metrics were I evaluated on?" Those instances when you met or exceeded those goals make for excellent bullet points.

3. Small item. You don't need to say "obtained" before your degree. By listing a degree, you are automatically saying you obtained it.

4. Take a close look at your bullet points and make certain the grammar is correct. I see a few areas were the grammar isn't as tight as it could be.

I hope that helps. It looks like you do really important work, so thank you for that! Best of luck in your job search.

Brightly flashing red, white, and blue "stars"?

Several times over the last few years I have observed brightly flashing red/white/blue "stars" in the night sky. Previously I assumed they were airplanes, or possibly helicopters, but last night, October 17, 2008, I realized they probably are not. The following observations were made in the San Luis Valley of Colorado, about 15 miles south of Alamosa, and subsequently near Del Norte, 30 miles to the west.

Here are the details:
The first object was visible in the northeastern sky, at an altitude of about 30 degrees above the horizon, bearing about 60deg. We noticed it around 8:00 P.M. Later we noticed substantially similar objects bearing 180 and 300..

To the naked eye, the objects appeared to be very brightly twinkling stars, except that they appeared to move slightly, causing us to get out binoculars.

Through binoculars, we could see that the star looked like a rotating beacon or strobe, brightly flashing in red, blue and white. We continued to watch the object, first steadying the binoculars on a fence post, and then mounting one pair on a tripod to get a steady view.

Once we obtained a steady view, we could tell that the object was really not moving in relation to the horizon, and that over a period of half an hour or so, the stars had moved, but the object had not.

My next thought was that we were seeing some sort of aerial navigation aid on a radio tower, however, I have checked the sectional aviation chart for the area. There is no high tower on the chart that matches the location.

I remembered that in the past, the RAF, as a guest of the US, has done high altitude testing of Chinook helicopters in our area, but these tests are usually announced in the local media, and it seems unlikely that they would be testing three helicopters in widely dispersed areas, in three different areas, far from the airport where they normally base these tests.

Having other committments, I broke off my observatons of the object to the north east, and as I was loading my car, I noticed the similar objects to the south and the north west.

I made a 45 minute drive, arriving in Del Norte, about 40 miles away to the north west, and I was able to keep the north west flashing thing in view for most of my drive.

Arriving in Del Norte around 10:00 P.M. I was able to again pick out the flashing object to the north west and the north east. The location where the southerly object would have been located, was obscured by trees and a low range of hills to the south.

Again, the objects appeared about 30 degrees above the horizon, appeared to be stationary, persisted for more than two hours and remained visible in apparently the same location in the sky as I drove more than 45 miles.

Again, the objects appeared to be very brightly flashing stars, flashing blue, red and white, almost as if a state patrol car, or some other vehicle equipped with a rotating beacon or strobe, was suspended in the sky with it's emergency flashers turned on.

I have consulted my star atlas and they do not appear to match the location of any currently prominently visible bright stars. They also do not appear to rise and set. I find it hard to believe that satellites in stationary orbit would flash red white and blue, and to my knowledge, neither airplanes nor helicopters display flashing blue lights. I am also not aware of any commonly used aerial navigation aide or collission avoidance device.

Any ideas?

Flashing white and red lights are usually aircraft or high towers. Flashing blue lights are usually law enforcement aircraft.

Since you were relatively near Colorado Springs and didn't see any groups of Air Force aircraft being scrambled to intercept these objects, they were probably identified aircraft to local controllers.

If you think there were celestial objects, go out tonight or tomorrow night at the same time and look in the same directions.

What is my health problem?

I am a twenty-three year old male. I feel the need to urinate quite often. After I urinate I have a burning sensation on the tip of my penis, just at the opening of the Urethra. I've also noticed a clear "discharge" that has a similar visual appearance and consistency of pre-ejaculate. It "drips" out at random intervals, and sometimes right after urination. I've noticed it has left white stains in dark colored undergarments. Sometimes it feels like I need to make a bowel movement, but when I sit down to eliminate nothing happens. At times when I do make bowel movements, they are slow to happen and require more effort than usual. The stool is generally of normal color and shape according to the Bristol Stool Chart. I had an STD test for Syphilis, HIV/AIDS, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea and all the results were negative. I'm not sure what my problem is. I've been to see a doctor several times in the last month or so for symptoms that may or may have not been related. First, back pain, for which I was prescribed an anti-inflammatory, and then diarrhea and loose stool that was deemed the result of a passing stomach virus. I'm not sure what to do now and am considering going to the emergency room. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I feel it should be made known that I am prescribed Bupropion for anxiety and depression. I'm not sure if this has any relevance but just to make sure I have included it.
Bupropion may account for constipation, and rare side effects including frequent urination, bladder infections, or other urinary problems. This may be the cause.

Check the side-effects of the medicine you're taking. If your symptoms are not related, i recommend seeing a doctor that specializes in diseases, and get a diagnosis. If none of these work, i have no idea what to tell you.
